JOANNE SABIR

Co-Owner of Shindig Coffee formally known as The Juice Kitchen

Joanne was recently recognized as the BizTimes 2017 Community Leader of the Year. JoAnne and her husband, Maanaan, own and operate The Juice Kitchen, a fresh juice café in the Lindsay Heights Neighborhood. The successful business has sparked pride, transformed a vacant corridor, and become a remarkable gathering space. Because of her leadership and dedication to the Sherman Phoenix, Sabir was recently named one of Milwaukee Business Journal's "Community Executives of the Year" alongside her co-developer Juli Kaufmann.

JULI KAUFMANN

President of Fix Development

Juli is the founder of an award-winning commercial real estate company that has developed over $25 million in Milwaukee-area projects, including the Clock Shadow Building, The Innovations & Wellness Commons, and the Wally Schmidt Building, home to The Tandem Restaurant. Juli is also co-founder of Fund Milwaukee, a local investment group that has raised over $1 million in capital by matching unaccredited local investors with local entrepreneurs. At the 2018 BizExpo, Juli was named "BizTimes Woman Executive of the Year." In partnership with Joanne Sabir, Juli was recognized as the one of 2018's Milwaukee Business Journal's "Community Executives of the Year" for her leading role in the Sherman Phoenix project. 

JESSIE TOBIN

PROJECT CONSULTANT

Jessie is a consultant who works on community development initiatives across Milwaukee. She is passionate about building healthy communities through neighborhood-driven development. Jessie is skilled in project management, writing and communications, group facilitation and fund development. In addition, she develops narratives and collateral materials including case studies, grant proposals, and project reports. Jessie holds an MPH in Community Public Health Practice from the University of Washington – Seattle. 

CLYDE ANDERSON

BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Clyde Anderson is an entrepreneur, author and former CNN analyst. His resume includes Fortune 500 companies, national non-profit organizations, large-scale events, workshops, retreats and more than 400 appearances on national news outlets. He is passionate about helping entrepreneurs overcome business obstacles in order to thrive. His first two books, "What Had Happened Was..." and "Fundamental WEALTH Principles," have both helped propel Clyde into a position that allows him to help businesses grow.

JANNIFER ANDERSON

EVENT & PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Jan is an accomplished event planner/experience producer who started her career in marketing and branding with companies such as Frito Lay and Hormel Foods. She has over fifteen years experience producing events as well as television segments for networks such as CNN and Radio One. Jan’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination, concept design and passion have earned her a reputation as a unparalleled event planner and experience producer, who ensures an amazing experience for organizers and guests.
